Hail! …it’s hailing in Southern California in the month of May.

Hail! View from our warehouse gate, a few minutes into this rogue hailstorm that came through right after lunch. What’s weird is that our office is El Monte, but when I called some friends down the street, or in neighboring areas, they didn’t see any hail. Creepy.

Hail! Being born and raised in Hawaii, I hadn’t seen snow till I was about 19 (in California), and I had never actually been in a hailstorm ever. Who would’ve thought my first time would be in Socal?

Hail! What an AE86 looks like sitting next to a pile of frozen water pellets.

Hail! Luckily I was driving the beater, these things hurt when you get hit by them, can’t imagine what it would do to cars.

JDMSUX …or sux? Haha my friend Jon Paik from VA (og from WA) got a funny vanity plate for his new whip.

JDMSUX All in the fun of humor, he can’t act like he isn’t down with the Japan market with his new STi. Plus too he’s one of the few Subaru guys who still runs REAL wheels like Volk Racing.

You won’t find a cooler montage of a S13 convertible than this one right here (not necessarily due to the fact that there aren’t any to begin with). My friend Danny from Pink Godzira was either a) really bored or b) ultra creative when he made this short montage. All the haters need to catch wreck, this video is so awesome! The vert is also for sale by the way…only serious fools tho.

Met up with the homey John from Webrides TV the other night. Seems that Nissan lent them a GTR to test out (Napoleon Dynamite: “LUUCKY!”). Overall the car is really nice. Muscular looking with power to back the looks, it’s definitely FAST. Brembo 6 pot monoblocks, sittin on dubs, nice interior, all good.

I might be the only one, but I really wasn’t terribly excited by it. Maybe I’m biased because I knew the price tag before seeing the car, or maybe because I’m too poor to afford one? I could go into the reasoning behind what I agree and disagree with the GT-R, but in the end people would probably just think I’m a huge GT-R hate-R and I’d have to get the flamesuit (on a side note I’m more of a R34 GTR guy myself). Either way, its a nice car, super fast, high performance…but for $69k + markup…I dunno how I’d want to spend it. I guess give me the cash and I’ll take it from there?

…uh oh, not fat guy friendly. I think I’m the only person who would see a new GT-R in person and be interested in rear seats. Twin turbos? Who needs em, OOH, are those rear cupholders?

AME FS-01 Bronze 18x9+25 18x10+25 Came across pics of Stan’s Z vert from Las Vegas. Clean and simple, I don’t see too many modded verts these days.

AME FS-01 Bronze 18x9+25 18x10+25 Concavity that would piss off your dentist. Fitment is dead on too, nice and flush with no rubbing or rolling needed.
