…it’s hailing in Southern California in the month of May.
View from our warehouse gate, a few minutes into this rogue hailstorm that came through right after lunch. What’s weird is that our office is El Monte, but when I called some friends down the street, or in neighboring areas, they didn’t see any hail. Creepy.
Being born and raised in Hawaii, I hadn’t seen snow till I was about 19 (in California), and I had never actually been in a hailstorm ever. Who would’ve thought my first time would be in Socal?
What an AE86 looks like sitting next to a pile of frozen water pellets.
Luckily I was driving the beater, these things hurt when you get hit by them, can’t imagine what it would do to cars.
