The C-West GT Wing I’m using is a universal piece because they don’t make one specifically for S15’s. Unfortunately, the universal wing mounts in the middle which doesn’t happen to be the strongest place of the trunk. Thus, I went to see a man about a brace.
A man who knows more about custom fabrication than I do about being an asshole; Mr. Gary Designcraft Castillo.
Gary fabbed a brace on the underside of the trunklid. The entire piece is bolt on so I can take it off if I ever find a reason to.
Super awesome work. Gary never ceases to amaze me. Satoshi said it best: “It’s like a roll cage for a stupid wing.” Haha. Now I just gotta get it polished so I can keep up my show car image for Logan.
